Rumah Muda Youth Coordination Center Mobilizes Support for Flood-Affected Communities in Southern Thailand

Pusat Penyelarasan Belia – Youth Coordination Center for Development (Rumah Muda) Amid the recent severe flooding crisis in southern Thailand, a group of more than 50 youths and volunteers mobilized to provide continuous support to affected communities. Since 24 November 2025, the team has carried out relief operations tirelessly over a period of nine consecutive days.

As soon as the situation escalated, the volunteer team rapidly reached affected areas, covering small communities, remote locations, and hard-to-access zones. Their guiding principle remained clear: “In times of crisis, no one should be left behind.”

Throughout the operation, the team prepared and distributed approximately 1,000 cooked meals per day, along with 100 dozens of drinking water, ensuring consistent and equitable support for those in need. These efforts helped alleviate immediate hardships and provided essential sustenance for affected residents to endure the difficult situation.

Despite the physical exhaustion, words of gratitude and the smiles of community members became a powerful source of encouragement, enabling the volunteers to continue their mission with unwavering dedication.
